The testing menu is served in a traditional restaurant (osteria) in Assisi historical center.
The 3 courses menu is chosen among a variety of traditional dishes as: Norcina (local dishes with umbria sausage, truffle sauce, cream milk), roasted wild pork, torta al testo (original umbria bread), panzanella salad (typical umbria salad with a mix of green salads, onions, and small pieces of bread), polenta with ragù sauce and sausage, Soups with: spelt and pumpkin, fave bins chicory and bacon, Norcia lentils and toasted bread.
You can choose your wine glasse between local wines: the white and scented Grechetto, served cold with a soft aftertaste acidulous. The famous Montefalco wine a bland of 4 different grapes cabertnet, sauvignon, sangiovese and sagrantino. The sagrantino grape is planted only in Umbria region, knows in the world as single variety Sagrantino wine, full bodied and dry wine with a particular aftertaste of red fruits. Try also the Sagrantino grape jam with caciotta cheese wonderfull!
